Countdown Steps to Start ABA | RARE Autism Support

As a trusted provider of ABA therapy for children dealing with Autism, our company is committed to helping parents get started with our services in a simple, streamlined process. Here are the steps you can take to get started with our ABA therapy program:

Step 1:  We recommend that parents read up on ABA therapy and Autism research, and consult with a RARE BCBA if you have any questions.

Step 2: Talk to your doctor about having your child tested for Autism. Send us a picture of the ASD (Autism) Diagnosis

Step 3: Get an ABA therapy prescription from your pediatrician. Send us a picture of the Rx.

Even after a child receives an ASD diagnosis their parent/guardian must discuss ABA therapy with a pediatrician or other medical provider. A doctor must provide the parent/guardian with a prescription that says ABA therapy is being prescribed for the child dealing with Autism.

Step 4: send us a picture of your insurance information

Step 5: Schedule an Intake Assessment Intake Appointment

The next step is to schedule an intake assessment with one of our BCBAs. During the assessment, the BCBA will meet with you and your child to discuss your child’s specific needs and develop a personalized treatment plan. Please call RARE to schedule an assessment or click here.

Step 6: Begin ABA Therapy

Once insurance coverage is verified, RARE will schedule a start date for the ABA therapy sessions. Our BCBA will work closely with you to ensure that the sessions are tailored to their child’s needs, and that progress is being made. We encourage parents to be actively involved in the ABA therapy, ask questions, and provide feedback so that we can ensure the best outcomes for your child.

We all look forward to serving you and your child and adding joy to your families life!
